With over 30 years of experience in high-performance beach volleyball, Marcão is a highly accomplished coach with a proven track record from youth development to elite professional level.

He has coached internationally across South America and Europe, working with national teams and top-level athletes.

Marcão served as an Olympic coach with the Greek National Team at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and has held coaching roles with the Brazilian and Spanish national teams.

He is currently Head Coach and Technical Director of Beach Volleyball at Volleyball Academy Zurich.

Professional beach volleyball coach with over 14 years of coaching experience and a strong background as a competitive athlete.

He has worked extensively with youth athletes, achieving multiple national-level distinctions in U19 competitions, while focusing on technical development, game understanding, and performance improvement.

Former Assistant Coach within a National Team environment, with experience in high-level training and competition preparation.

Based in Switzerland, he brings a professional mindset, intensity, and structured approach to every training session.
